Nursery Rhymes

One of the most important things for learning english in early years is to make it fun. In this school we all love songs and singing, so we’ve rolled up our sleeves and learnt some new songs! And just in case you don’t know they are the same songs that English children sing…

The cheeky monkeys have learnt Incy Wincy Spider and Twinkle Twinkle… they have had lots of fun singing, dancing and doing crafts.

The wild lions and brave explorers have been learning Humpty Dumpty and Three Blind Mice

And, last but not least, the slippery snakes have learnt In a Cottage in the Woods, and The Grand Old Duke of York.

We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!!

AUTUMN HAS ARRIVED

At the end of September strange things start to happen…

  Leaves change color.
They fall from the trees.
The animals are feeling sleepy.
It rains a lot more.
It starts getting colder.
Birds fly away…

Yes, it can’t be anything else… AUTUMN has arrived…

And because we love learning about everything, we’ve been investigating a bit about Autumn. We’ve even brought lots of autumn things that we’ve found outside…

After a few days bringing things in, we've been able to set up a museum with all the stuff we've brought. This is great because we get to see and play with Autumn things without even having to go outside!

Autumn is so cool! we've been doing lots of really fun things:

We've learnt a song

Painted some acorns

Eating walnuts...

See you soon!!

RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE

Hello! And welcome back! We’ve had a busy month… after a lovely looooong summer we got back to school with lots to tell and with lots of surprises…

Our space in the school has been transformed into a beautiful jungle! And little by little, so has our class… we’ve learnt so much already!

We’ve been working very hard, and doing all sorts of things related with the animals, and what jungles are like…

Some words we've been learning

But it’s not all work, we’ve read a lot of stories and learnt some new, very fun songs, all about jungles and jungle animals.

These are some of the stories that we've read.

Why not try and learn these songs and sing along to them?

We all love painting, and since we’ve grown so much over the summer, we can do new crafts and paintings, what do you think!?

We'll be back soon, with lots more things to tell you!
